Continuing our commitment to supporting education and literacy in our community, Grand Pacific Hotel is proud to announce our second partnership with Fiji Book Drive. As part of this initiative, we have donated FJ$800 to fulfill Fiji Book Drive’s wishlist, facilitating the purchase of 200 books from Waka Publications (University of the South Pacific).

This contribution, valued at $542 AUD (FJ$800), ensures that more children in Fiji have access to valuable educational resources. Our donation aligns with Fiji Book Drive’s mission to repurpose and redistribute books and educational materials to schools in need. Since its inception in 2012, Fiji Book Drive has donated 348,504 books to over 238 schools and kindergartens across Fiji, significantly enhancing the educational opportunities available to Fijian students.

We are delighted to support this worthy cause and contribute to the creation of vibrant and well-equipped school libraries. The books have been shipped to areas in Fiji before mid-year, ensuring timely access for the upcoming academic period.
