Initiatives as such to the community show the extent of our commitment. As now, we have started the Community Care Fund to do better with your support.
COMMUNITY CARE FUND
Our long-term “Community Care” fund will invest in various community and environmental projects in the area around the resort. A donation of FJ$2.00 per room per night for our Community Care Program will be automatically added to your bill and 100% of funds go towards the continuous improvement of the lives of those who live in and around the hotel.
All Community Care funding will be invested in 4 key areas:
- Education
- Wellbeing
- Environmental Sustainability
- Infrastructure
The Community Care Fund will be managed by the Grand Pacific Hotel Sustainability Committee. This committee will include a group of volunteer staff members from most departments at the resort such as Engineering, Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR, Security and Activities. The Sustainability Committee will meet once a month to track the progress of initiatives, consider new initiatives and ensure staff members and guests are given the opportunity to participate.
