25th March 2024 (Suva, Fiji): Grand Pacific Hotel Suva, a symbol of luxury hospitality and heritage in Fiji, is set to paint the town purple on Tuesday, March 26th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Fiji Time. In a powerful demonstration of solidarity with Purple Day, the hotel will light up its front facade in dazzling purple hues to champion epilepsy awareness, dispel misconceptions, and offer unwavering support to individuals navigating the challenges of epilepsy.

Joined by sister properties InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa and Holiday Inn Suva, Grand Pacific Hotel Suva is not only illuminating its premises but also igniting hope and support within the community. Every cup of coffee purchased across these three distinguished properties on the 26th of March 2024 will contribute directly to strengthening assistance for those impacted by epilepsy, with all proceeds earmarked for the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

“As someone who’s seen the impact of community support firsthand, I’m proud that Grand Pacific Hotel Suva is joining hands with Purple Day. At IHG, it’s not just about lighting up a building; it’s about lighting up lives. Our commitment to our Journey to Tomorrow is deeply personal—it’s about ensuring every colleague and people around communities our hotels operate in feel valued, supported, and are able to thrive.” commented Lachlan Walker, Portfolio General Manager – IHG Hotels & Resorts, FNPF Owned Hotels.

Grand Pacific Hotel Suva is proud to stand in solidarity with Purple Day, advocating for epilepsy awareness and supporting individuals affected by this condition. We invite guests, locals, and supporters alike to join us in this meaningful endeavor, savoring a cup of coffee and capturing moments of unity and compassion.

At the heart of communities, Grand Pacific Hotel Suva stands as more than just a hotel; it is a central communal hub that has borne witness to countless historic events and gatherings. Throughout its storied history, the hotel has been deeply ingrained in the fabric of the community, serving as a beacon of unity and connection.

With a commitment to giving back, Grand Pacific Hotel Suva plays a special role in not only serving and connecting people around the world to the Pacific Island countries but also in actively contributing to the betterment of the community it calls home.

Guests are encouraged to seize the opportunity to demonstrate their support by visiting Grand Pacific Hotel Suva on Tuesday, indulging in a cup of coffee for a cause, and sharing their solidarity through social media snapshots.
