The Grand Pacific Hotel stands as a refined version of a once-and-always majestic tribute to the definition of colonial luxury. The hotel boasts a range of 103 spacious guest rooms in our Harbour and Kingsford Smith Wings and a further ten rooms and suites located in our magnificent National Trust listed Heritage building.

Heritage Rooms
The six Heritage Rooms all have very different sizes and layouts, evoking the original feel and style of the hotel. All feature spacious bathrooms and double French doors that open onto the heritage veranda.
Queen Elizabeth Suite
Named in honour of the Grand Old Lady’s most famous and illustrious visitor, this suite is symbolic of the splendour of colonial days past. Overlooking Albert Park, the suite opens onto to the largest balcony at the Grand Pacific Hotel – the very place where Queen Elizabeth II stood and greeted her subjects to huge acclaim and international publicity shortly after she became Queen in 1953.
Royal Suites 7 and 8
Remaining true to the ideals of unadulterated colonial service and design, these spacious one bedroom suites feature a highly desired location in the main Heritage Building and overlook Albert Park.
Royal Suite 1
Elegant and gracious, our premiere suite overlooks the main hotel grounds and the pool courtyard and enjoys a magnificent view of the ever changing Suva Harbour with its dramatic sunsets and background of majestic mountains. The bathroom features a Jacuzzi and the suite has a spacious living area with opulently comfortable furnishings that include a six seat dining area for private entertainment or business meetings. The French doors leads onto an extensive expanse of verandas that is an ideal venue for evening drinks or quiet contemplation at the end of a busy day.
Harbour and Kingsford Smith Wings
A recent addition to Grand Pacific Hotel, these accommodation wings were constructed in 2014 in order to expand and compliment the original heritage building. All guestrooms have been designed and decorated in a contemporary style to maximise both views and guest comfort. All feature the famed “Pure Fiji” amenities, complimentary Wi-Fi, in room safes, spacious work desks and either a veranda or private balcony.
Grand Pacific Park View
Located in the Kingsford Smith Wing, these rooms open onto a spacious veranda that runs along the frontage of the wing and overlook both Albert Park and the adjacent Thurston Garden.
Grand Pacific Superior
Located in our Harbour Wing, the rooms offer either Pool or Garden views and all have ten square metre private balconies to optimise views.
Grand Pacific Premiere
Also located in the Harbour Wing, these rooms are located closer to the water’s edge. They are of a similar size and layout to the Superior rooms, but with more extensive views over Suva Harbour.
Grand Pacific Club
These extra spacious rooms feature a 15 square metre private balcony and are located at the end of the Harbour Wing. Only a few metres from the water’s edge, they all enjoy full and uninterrupted views over the magnificent Suva Harbour. Grand Pacific Club room guests have full access to our Victoria Lounge in the Heritage Building for breakfast and complimentary evening sundowners and canapes from 5pm through until 7pm.

Heritage Building
Located on the first floor in the hotel’s original heritage building, these Rooms and Suites offer a wonderful glimpse into our rich colonial history with their three metre high ceilings, spacious bathrooms and big double, louvered doors that open onto the huge four metre wide veranda that wraps around the whole of the building, thus allowing views in all directions. This is a wonderful space to relax and enjoy the evening sea breeze and to effortlessly transport yourself back to the era of Dame Nellie Melba, Somerset Maugham, Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, James Michener and the many other legendary and romantic figures of the South Pacific’s rich historical past who have been guests in the Grand Pacific Heritage building over the decades.
Totally refitted in 2014, each room in the heritage building has a different layout and a charm and personality of its own. All boast colonial inspired décor that delivers an elegant and evocative timelessness.
All Heritage Building guests have access to our Victoria Lounge, conveniently located adjacent to these rooms and has panoramic views overlooking Suva Harbour. This private lounge, bar and veranda area is reserved for the use of Heritage and Club room guests and may be enjoyed at any time during the day or evening. Full buffet breakfast is served here daily from 7am, as are complimentary evening sundowners and canapes from 5pm through until 7pm.
